Why should more men join a choir you ask. When men are looking for a hobby or a lifestyle change, singing in a choir isn’t always the first thought that springs to mind, but it should be! There are so many great benefits for men when they get together with a group of like minded people to sing in a choir. Let’s take a look at 6 of these benefits.

Why should more men join a choir?

The Bass and Tenor sections form the foundations of the sound in a choir. Whenever we sing, you can clearly hear the difference in our sound when we have a few men to add more depth to the choir.

1. Meet new friends

Increasing your circle of friends is always a good thing and everyone in our choir is so friendly, you will be amazed at the number of new friends you will make, even maybe a life partner!

2. Enjoy our community

Choir singers are very supportive people, so if you are looking for a sense of community, join our choir! We are always there to support any of our members who are going through a bad patch, so don’t be afraid to step up and let singing into your life.

3. Visit great locations

As a choir, we visit some wonderful locations, places you might never have visited otherwise. We are always going somewhere new with the choir and we love it.

4. Explore your singing voice

If you have never sung in public before, it’s OK to hide in the back and blend in with everyone else. When you start to feel more confident however, we will be happy for you to step forward in the choir.

5. De-stress your day

You will be amazed at how relaxed you will feel at the end of a good practice session. Singing is a great way to de-stress after a busy or troublesome day at work and everyone benefits from feeling more relaxed.

6. Women love male voices

Believe it or not, women love to hear a strong male voice singing, so if you want to feel appreciated – join our choir!
